 ARTIST RESIDENCIES Opportunity Village and the City of Las Vegas Arts Commission "Needs and Whimsies": Artist Lisa Fields Clark designed and facilitated the production of this collaborative mural. She worked for a period of two months with 10 clients of the Opportunity Village Art Enrichment program and its staff and volunteers. The 4' x 64' mural was installed along the upper portion of the south-facing wall of the store in the downtown Arts District at Main Street and Coolidge Avenue.  Seattle Children's Museum Imagination Station Mexican Folk Art: Designed and facilitated daily drop-in workshops for one month, working with 2,100 kids (ages 4-10). Workshops included a brief explanation of Dio de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), an introduction to varied traditional Mexican music, and three crafts - decorating sugar skulls, simplified papel picado, and huichol yarn art. |

GROUP FACILITATION and WORKSHOPS WestCare Nevada, Las Vegas, NV In-house Art Program: Developed and facilitated a three-year arts and crafts program for six residential client groups which included at-risk youth (ages 10-17), adult women, and children (ages 3-11). This program integrated therapeutic arts, traditional crafts, as well as projects that were just plain fun. |

College of Southern Nevada, Las Vegas, NV Adjunct Instructor: Developed and facilitated an eight week series of World Folk Arts and Crafts workshops for parents and their children. Each week focused on different world holidays including China's Lantern festival, VietNam's Tet, La Befana in Italy, Mexico's Cinco de Mayo, and Children's Day in Japan. Each workshop covered a brief history of the holiday's origin, information about the country, traditional music associated with this holiday, and a traditional craft. |
