Participant in The Following Sea: An installation by artist Lauren Gillette... A linear narrative, floating in a series of 56 glass bottles to be shown in a gallery setting; using humor, community, irony and lots of glass bottles to hack away at an illness/trauma piece. Snap a photo of yourself and your meal and mail it to us — Art House Co-op will create an exhibition from these self-portraits, documenting the world's largest communal snack. Jan. 12-March 11. An invitational exhibit focusing on the meaning and imagery behind the Chinese Year of the Dragon.     Artists' reception is Jan. 12, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the reception is free and open to the public. Exhibition is free and by appointment.

Artist participant in the Brooklyn Art Library's The Sketchbook Project 2012: The World Tour begins April 2012! The Sketchbook Project is a collaborative series of art books created by 5,000 artists from around the world. Anyone — from anywhere in the world — can participate. Sign up to receive a blank sketchbook in the mail, then fill it up and send it back. Your work will be cataloged in the Brooklyn Art Library and published in the Limited Edition art book series.
